Silence your pc is all about making your computer quieter. I first got interested in trying to make my pc silent a few years ago when I first bought a dvd drive for my PC. I wanted the pc in the lounge so I could watch movies on the TV, but the machine noise was more than a little annoying. Since then I've gone though many stages in trying to get a quiet pc for the lounge, and more recently have silenced all of my office computers, after I started suffering from tinitus after working in the office.
I've been constructing and tinkering with home computers since the early 90's, and am a software developer by trade, though I frequently find myself providing hardware support to all manner of small businesses and users.
